Daily things

After spending about a month with Wordpress, I felt completely confused as to how to make my blog there run good! I barely got any feedback/comments from any user, and just didnt enjoy posting fashion without others there to enjoy it with me!! Whats the point of a blog without others feedback? I dont want to be just an invisible blog with no meaning and no traffic!! I want my readers to enjoy my posts, because I have a lot to say about fashion and hope to meet people who love fashion as much as I do!!!
Heres what I want for this blog:
-Every friday I will post interesting articles/links from other blogs/sites. They will be called 'Friday Fixations.'
-I will post a look from lookbook.nu that I love the most with the Friday Fixations.
-I will usually post images, and not as much text, because I prefer to focus on the fashion itself than rather read about my opinions on it. I dont like to post fashion news as much. But I will provide links each day of the week for the latest fashion updates.

I thought many were very wonderful and elegant, and others i thought were not elegant at all.

So I found the Pantone Spring 2009 fashion color Preview. I find the pallette to be very bold this time, very statement making. I fancy it.

Project Runway

even though it kind of gives away who is going to win Season 5 of Project Runway, I really am hoping for Leanne to win. She is very talented,and so sophisticated in her designs.I am also routing for her because she has clothing here in Portland Oregon, where i live so go Portland designers!! Here is her video from NY Fashion Week thanks newsday blog.
Jerell, Suede, and all the rest were not impressive at all to me. Not at all. They were so unfitting, and had too many ideas. Leanne really stuck to one thing, and it was beautiful.

So as my usual perusing of bloggers and blog sites continued late into the early morning today,I found this idea of some bloggers tagging people and writing random things about themselves.Since I have no one to tag,Ill skip to the facts part instead.If you want to tag me,I will give you a cookie,and an e-hug. + I count stairs when i walk up/down them.(It drives me CRAZY!)

+ I bite my lip constantly,so to fix it,i put carmex on it,cuz it tastes horrible

+ When i get out of the shower,I will not,ever,go a day without putting lotion on

+ I subscribe to 4 fashion magazines,and keep them..forever.(I am addicted!)

+ I have never once sat on the toilet in public restrooms or other peoples house

+ I write in pen. Only pen.Im obsessive compulsive like that

+ My favorite pie is Banana Cream and Cherry Pie

+ I never sleep without a light on

+ My ring size is 4 (the smallest)

+ For some reason,I always capitalize the beginnings of my sentences.Even in my blog.

Fashion Week!

I began looking at the collections early this afternoon, and watched some coverage on BCBG Max Azria. Very draped, very colorful. Very spring oriented collection that was full of color. It was simple, but fun for spring 09.

Strolling along Dazed Digital, I found an amazing designer i had never seen before. His a/w 07-08 collection is bold, fierce and strong. I respect him for making such a bold statement.

Anxiety Level: 10

so right now,im feeling really tense and anxious to the core. I dont know why, I think it might be the sugar honesty. Im gonna get my monthly routine soon, so that has contributions too. Gah. I hate being like this.All strung up, wanting some comfort, but not gonna get any. I wish i was with Nate right now. Id kill to be near him right now. Im like, feeling mad,but have no reason to be mad. Im feeling stressed, but have no reason to. There is something else i want too right now, but i cant remember. I just know that i want it REALLY badly. Like, its right there, and i can never reach it cuz there is something in the way. But the thing in the way, is a good thing.. so that makes it even harder.

Why do i always get stuck in these situations?

Damnit.

Falling in Love with the Past

At Nasty Gal Vintage, I found myself in LOVE with their collections of stellar shades and bomber jackets. So refreshing! Vintage, is my calling. And im addicted. These are my favs!!
